Campaigning is going in full swing in all the four Parliamentary constituencies in the Telangana region that are going to by elections. Telugu Desam, Congress and TRS are contesting with different agendas in these prestigious by polls. TRS is hoping on strong Telangana sentiment while Congress is believing in the development agenda. TDP is betting big on anti incumbency against Congress Government and TRS candidates.
I am here discussing about the latest situation in these Loksabha segments.
1. Karimnagar: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao will once again win this seat but margin of victory will be narrowed. Jeevan Reddy of Congress party is in second place while Telugu Desam has no hopes on this TRS stronghold.
2. Hanamkonda: TRS candidate may win this seat by a narrow margin over Congress candidate due to growing sentiment among people. TDP is in the third place. Congress fielded strong candidate Konda Surekha here and is hoping on BC card.
3. Warangal: Growing sentiment is giving sleepless nights for Telugu Desam candidate Dayakar Rao who is leading the race in the initial stages. TRS and TDP will compete for top slots while Congress will stand in third place.
4. Adilabad: TDP candidate Venugopala Chari is leading the race over strong Congress candidate Indrakaran Reddy. TRS is in third place here. TDP will win the Khanapur assembly segment also.
Verdict: TRS will definitely win in Karimnagar and Hanamkonda Loksabha segments while TDP may bag Adilabad seat. There will be stiff competition between TDP and TRS in Warangal. Sentiment wave is spreading rapidly in the last stage of campaign which may change political equations. Cross voting in favour of TRS may happen especially in the Loksabha seats. Cross voting in favour of Congress candidate will occur in Hanamkonda Parliamentary constituency. Most of the results will depend on the voting pattern of women voters who generally don’t reveal their choice.
Note: TRS lost hopes on Jadcherla, Dommat, Vikarabad, Secunderabad and Khanapur assembly constituencies. It is also facing difficulties in Musheerabad, Ramayampet, Huzurabad, Alair and Station Ghanpur segments. Telangana Rashtra Samithi may win in 8-10 Assembly seats only mainly due to severe anti-incumbency against its inefficient candidates.
Best candidates in these elections:
1. Siddipet: Harish Rao will win this Assemble segment by more than 50,000 votes.
2. Kamalapur: E. Rajendar whose personality will garner more votes than T-sentiment.
3. Ramayampet: TDP candidate Hanmantharao may surprise TRS and Congress due to his good name among people.
4. Musheerabad: BJP candidate Laxman will win this seat as he stood by people and activists even after the narrow defeat in 2004 Assembly selection.
