Dharmapuri is a small Hindu pilgrimage town in Karimnagar district and is famous for Lord Narasimha temple. It was the capital city during Satavahana rule. It is located on the banks of Godavari river and is facing elections for the second time in 2 years due to resignation of TRS MLA Koppula Eswar.
Highlight: Dharmapuri is a new constituency and was formed after de-limitation exercise and is reserved for SCs. Dharmapuri is reserved for Scheduled Castes.
