AP Arya Vysya Mahasabha is conducting massive meeting on November 21 in Vijayawada city. 5 lakh Arya Vysyas are expected to attend this "Mahasammelanam" (congregation). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Konijeti Rosaiah is the chief guest. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Konijeti Rosaiah organised the Arya Vysya sammelan in 1975 (Chief guest: Jalagam Vengalarao).    They condemned the attacks on the statues of Potti Sriramulu in Hyderabad and Khammam. They demanded all the political parties to allocate adequate seats in the upcoming Municipal and Panchayat elections.  Arya Vysyas are hard working people and are famous for their trading skills and charitable activities.
